Just for fun

This is really true....
Left brain, right brain !!!!

While sitting at your computer, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles.

Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" on your screen with your right hand.

Your foot will change direction and there's nothing you can do about it:)

  • Oh, I hate to pop you're bubble, but yes, there is! I made the 6 from the bottom up and was easily able to continue with my foot in the correct direction! (I'm weird, I know... lol.... also been tested to be equally right and left brained.) Yes, if one makes the "6" in the usual way, it is not possible.

I'm glad you stopped by my blog. It was actually my Silken Threads blog where I saw someone from your site visit and thought of you. (I had been rebuilding a crashed blogroll.) I relish comments even after a string of people before, so I"m so glad you said something! :)

  • Missy, in fact you did great! Mine was rotating in the reverse direction!!

GEL, you cheat! Who taught you to write six bottom up? lol
I wasn't in your blogroll, so I am glad I didnt get hurt in the great crash:)

Sadiq, You have a great blog too. But, sadly, I am a bit too agnostic for your taste :( But I will be watching you and link you too. I am interested :)
Did you send me the Gita quotes just because I am a Hindu? Man, I am too secular for that :)

  • LOL, Santanu- I don't cheat. I'm just creative. Actually, you were in my blogroll at my other blog, where I write as SilvermOOn:
http://Silkenthreads18.blog.com. I don't send out email annoucements. I just add who I like and dont' have time to add so many blogs I like, but I try.

That Silken Threads host underwent changes that were NOT my fault, so so I have 2 sites to rebuild blogrolls. I added you back to the blogroll at "Good Vibrations." That one seems to interest you more? (You're welcome to visit any site.) Take care :D

  • ROFL on me: I see you do have both my sites listed! Thx I'll add you to back to both blogrolls. THank goodness people are understanding, because I'm quite varied in tastes in the choices of super blogs out here.

Come see my painting on Good Vibrations or read my story I'm writing on Silken Threads where I write as SilvermOOn. P.S. Even though I wrote the 6 upside down, this was so clever of you to post.IT's the type of thing that appeals to my scientific mathematical side: in other words, the geek in me! :D

  • So this is how you celebrated Children's Day !

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 26/11/05 01:20

  • No, I don't know who :(

But since you have brought up the topic, lemme enlighten u...
Children's day is Nov 14 only in India as it is Nehru's B'day. (I am presently not located in India)

In Japan, it is May 5.

In New Zealand, it was Oct 30 this year.

In UK (Notting Hill Carnival)its on Aug 29 or the nearest Sunday.

Last but not the least, it is Nov 20 as per UN resolution 836(IX) of 14 December 1954.

    I rest my case :-)
